It is always a great pleasure to start a new job. And just now, we are launching a new style of “Philately in Japan” through internet. From this issue, No. 101 on, we will send you quarterly every issue of “Philately in Japan” on web-site.

We will include in every issue (1) “Japan Echo”, an editorial, (2) Information about New Issues in Japan, (3) News and Records of Philatelic Events, (4) Book Review and (5) Article(s) of Philatelic Studies.

When we feel it necessary and appropriate, we are ready to publish special issues. This type of electronic publication of philatelic periodicals is, we believe, going with the stream of the times.

By the way, as you see in page on JAPEX’04, the annual greatest exhibition will be held from Nov. 5 (Fri.) through 7 (Sun.) in the Culture Center, Sunshine City, Ikebukuro, Tokyo. The session is several days later than usual this year. Please be cautious. And please do plan now! Exhibit in JAPEX and visit Tokyo in the beautiful season of Chrysanthemum.
