"Kobe Luminarie" is the annual event to console souls of victims of the great earthquake of 1995, and also to encourage the people in Kobe since December 1995. In 2005, the event was held from December 9 to 22, for 14 days, under the theme "Inizia il secondo capitolo della Luce."
