[Note on the Stamps]
Five waka-poets and their poems have been chosen from "Hyakunin-isshu (One hundred poems by one hundred poets)" as the representative ones for the five subjects respectively: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter and Love. The stamps depict so-called "Korin Caruta (playing cards by Korin)."
