[Note on the Stamps]
New definitive stamps were issued, following the design theme of revised definitive stamps issued on 2014 March 3, "The Nature of Japan." The motif of 20-yen definitive stamp is Cervus nippon, family of Artiodactyla Cervidae with head and body length of approximately 100-150cm, which populates entire Japanese continents. In the summer months, its coat is brown with white spots patterning which is called Kanoko pattern.
