New definitive stamps were issued, following the design theme of revised definitive stamps issued on 2014 March 3, "The Nature of Japan." The motif of 50-yen definitive stamp is Capricornis crispus, family of Bovidae, sub-family of Caprinae and herbivore. Capricornis crispus, is about 100cm in height and 40kg in weight, lives in Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu in Japan and is designated as a special natural treasure.
