[Note on the Stamps]
New definitive stamps were issued, following the design theme of revised definitive stamps issued on 2014 March 3, "The Nature of Japan." The motif of 120-yen definitive stamp is Wisteria floribunda, family of Fabaceae, the genus Wisteria.
This species is native to Japan, and seen in Honshu, Shikoku and Kyushu. It twines around the other trees as it grows.
