(Small Notes for the Issue)

The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Japan issued three new definitive stamps by the theme, "The Nature of Japan." The stamps depict "birds" according to the theme. The face value is for the postal rate for non-standard-size item (larger than 235 millimeters x 120 millimeters and 10 millimeter thick, or heavier than 50 grams): 160 yen (over 75 grams and up to 100 grams).
