The business show in Tokyo, which marks the 50th anniversary in 1998 was originated in "Dai-ikkai jimukikaika-ten (the first office mechanization exhibition)" in 1949. By the theme, "New era of communication - business is to change and society is to change," the show was held from 19 to 22 May at Tokyo Big Sight (Tokyo International Exhibition Centre).
