(Small Notes for the Issue)

In November 1990, Mt. Unzen-Fugendake burst into eruption, which created a new lava layer over the mountain. In 1996, it was given a new name, Mt. Heisei Shinzan (a new mountain of Heisei era). The stamp depicts a photograph of Mt. Heisei Shinzan in early summer.
