(Small note for the issue)

R318 (R134): Originally, the stamp was issued on May 17, 1993, by the denomination of 62 yen (R134), but for this time, it was issued again by the denomination of 80 yen. The geographical distribution of largha seals (Phoca largha) in the north hemisphere is the widest among seals. They have many chances to contact with people as well. They also live around the coast of Hokkaidou. Although the adults have gray or dark gray fur with many spots, the baby seals are all white.
