(Small Notes for Issue)
Lake Chuzenji is in west of the city of Nikko, located under the southern slope of the Mt. Nantaisan. Its area is 11.5 square kilometers (4.4 square miles) and the altitude is 1,269 meters (4,163 feet). The largest lake over the altitude 1,000 meters in Japan. The waters of the lake flow eastward to becomee the Kegon Falls. The lake and the fall are the main attactions of the Nikko National Park.
